A2 Key /A2 Key for Schools (KET)
A2 Key (KET) is the first exam among Cambridge English Qualifications exams.
It is available in two versions: for children and adolescents – A2 Key for Schools and A2 Key for adults.
A2 Key is a certificate of English proficiency at the A2 level according to the CEFR scale.

About A2 Key for Schools / A2 Key (KET) exam
- it is dedicated for candidates whose language abilities are at A2 level according to the CEFR scale
- it tests basic language skills, e.g. understanding of simple written and spoken texts, abilities to communicate in everyday situations
A2 Key (KET) exam format
A2 Key consists of the following components:
- Reading & Writing: 60 minutes
- Listening: 30 minutes
- Speaking: 12 minutes
A2 Key exam is also available as A2 Key for Schools, which covers topics adjusted to the interests of school students.
