To register for the IELTS test<\/strong>, you need to visit the official IDP website:

After selecting the test type (Academic or General), version (computer-based or paper-based), and date, you will need to provide your personal and contact information, and upload a scan or photo of your identity document (passport or ID card).
Your identity document must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your IELTS registration.

IMPORTANT<\/strong>
On the day of the test, you must bring the same document that you uploaded during registration!
You must pay for the IELTS test within 48 hours of your registration date!<\/p><\/div><\/div>

All tests \u2013 paper-based and computer-based \u2013 are held in person at our Examination Centre at Al. Jerozolimskie 133 in Warsaw.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

For the computer version, online payment via PayPal is also possible. IMPORTANT<\/strong>: If you choose this payment method, the fee must be paid immediately. IMPORTANT:<\/strong>
As of the beginning of 2026, the paper-based IELTS test has been discontinued at all test centres across Poland.
The IELTS test is now available only in the computer-delivered format.

IELTS is available in two different test formats. The type of test you choose depends on the purpose for which you are taking it.
The IELTS Academic test<\/strong> is designed for people who are applying for university admission or professional registration in an English-speaking environment.

The IELTS General Training test<\/strong> is designed for people who are planning to move to an English-speaking country to study, work, or participate in training programs. It is also a requirement for immigration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

The Listening and Speaking sections are the same for both tests, but the content of the Reading and Writing sections differs depending on which test you choose.<\/strong>

Before registering for a test, check with the institution to which you are applying to see which type of IELTS test is required.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>

Right after registration, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration.

For the computer-based IELTS test,<\/strong> online results and online certificate <\/strong>will be available after 1 to 5 calendar days<\/strong> from the date of the exam.

For the paper-based version,<\/strong> online results and paper certificate <\/strong> will be available after 13 calendar days.<\/strong>
You will only receive one copy<\/strong> of your certificate.

You can pick up your certificate in person at our Examination Centre or choose to have it sent by registered mail.

You can also authorize someone to pick up your certificate on your behalf. The authorized person must have a printed and filled-in authorization form \u2013 download IELTS Result Collection Authorization<\/a>
